For my Minutiae project, I am creating a collection of entitled The Stoop. "The stoop" is an area prominently positioned outside of Peabody Hall at Temple University, where many students either spend their time and/or pass on their way home from class and/or J&H Dining Hall. "The Stoop" is constantly covered with trash, cigarette butts, and objects that were at some point left by a passerby. I will scan and blog many of these objects that I found in and around Peabody Hall and "the stoop", some intriguing, that I find throughout the semester.

the first blog on a non-Tumblr...

My name is Bridget Reed, and I am currently a freshman Graphic Design major at Tyler School of Art @ Temple University (even though I may eventually end up a ceramics major within the next 4 years). I enjoy painting and photography, and it is very rare that I do not have my camera with me. I love autumn and the way that the blue skies look against the orange and red leaves. I attend concerts as much as possible, and like the weird "hipster" music that people tend to dislike. I believe that the arts is one of the main things that makes me completely happy, one of the core reasons that I chose Tyler School of Art.

1. Q: What is your computer experience? A: I have taken numerous Computer Graphics and computer courses, and I feel very comfortable on the computer.
2. Q: How do you feel about technology in the arts? A: I feel as though technology should be integrated into the arts, as I use it often.
3. Q: What is your favorite movie? A: It is a tie between "500 Days of Summer" and Dirty Dancing.
4. Q: What is your favorite book? A: ANY books from the Harry Potter Series.
